Event Description
Our entertaining dynamic duo are back with the follow up to their sell-out Bordeaux seminars of years past with a deliciously broader scope!
For generations, the world's greatest wines came from a familiar list of places: Bordeaux, Burgundy, the Rhône, Rioja and Italy's most celebrated regions. They set the benchmark by which all others were judged.
But the wine world has changed. Can Oregon Pinot rival Red Burgundy? Is Margaret River Chardonnay every bit as compelling as White Burgundy? Has New Zealand earned its place alongside the Loire? Are the world's most exciting wines still coming from their traditional homes. Have the challengers arrived?
Join Chris Turyk and Ian Casterton as they taste through classic European benchmarks alongside outstanding wines from around the globe. Through lively discussion, blind comparisons and a few surprises, discover whether the originals still reign supreme, or whether it's time to rethink what "classic" really means.
