Event Description
Kick off Cornucopia with a true BC house party - an abundant West Coast buffet, local pours and a live DJ bringing the opening-night energy.
Cornucopia is turning 30, and we are opening the doors with the ultimate BC House Party.
This lively opening celebration brings together the flavours, creativity and laid-back spirit that define life on Canada’s West Coast. It is a night designed for exploring, connecting and celebrating, with great food, outstanding drinks and live entertainment, setting the tone for 11 unforgettable days of Cornucopia.
The centrepiece of the evening is an abundant West Coast-inspired buffet created by talented local chefs. Fill your plate with a generous selection of dishes celebrating the ingredients, cultures and culinary personalities of the region. From coastal flavours and comforting favourites to fresh, inventive creations, the buffet offers something delicious for every appetite.
Throughout the evening, explore a lively collection of beverage partners showcasing wines, craft beer, cider, spirits and alcohol-free creations from British Columbia. Meet the makers, discover new favourites and taste the ingenuity that has helped establish the West Coast as one of Canada’s most exciting food and beverage destinations.
A house party would not be complete without music. A live DJ will set the soundtrack for the night, bringing the energy and keeping the party going from the first beat to the final song.
There is no formal tasting route and no need to choose just one experience. Enjoy the buffet, sample something new, and create your own perfect evening. Dress with a little West Coast flair, mountain polished, coastal cool or simply ready to celebrate.
For three decades, Cornucopia has brought people together around exceptional food and drink. BC House Party launches this anniversary year by celebrating where the festival began, how far it has come and the people who continue to make it extraordinary.
Welcome to our house.
