Event Description

Cafés have traditionally been the hub of social life in many of the world’s great cities. Customers debated the hot topics of the day – politics, religion, literature, art – over glasses of local wine and spirits, often paired with light cuisine. From Prosecco and Grappa in the morning light of Verona, to cava and sherry in late-afternoon Madrid, to twilight wine and port in Oporto, wine and spirits have played a central role in world culture.

Beloved wine pro and presenter Paul Watkin leads this guided tasting in celebration of café culture, past and present, with the 4th edition of this cherished seminar. Each guest will receive a second-hand classic book to take home.  A perfect way to spend your late Sunday afternoon!

Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable. This is a 19+ event, therefore children will not be admitted. Due to liquor licensing, the Whistler Conference Centre cannot allow people under the age of 19 in any part of the building for the duration of the Cornucopia event.
