Inspired by the intrigue of Murder on the Orient Express, this 1920s-style murder mystery brings the glamour of the Roaring Twenties to the spectacular mountains of Whistler. Picture fur coats, champagne, jazz, ski lodges, wealthy travellers, secret romances, illicit deals and enough scandal to keep everyone guessing.
No one is who they seem, and everyone aboard has a secret.
The Whistler Express is the most luxurious private train to ever travel through the Canadian Rockies. Each winter, the elite, adventurous and notorious gather for an exclusive journey into the mountains, travelling north through British Columbia toward the glittering alpine resort of Whistler.
The train is the pride of the Pacific Mountain Railway Company, or PMR, a prestigious railway line built to transport Canada's wealthiest travellers into the spectacular wilderness of the Coast Mountains.
But this isn't an ordinary train journey.
The Whistler Express has been outfitted with every luxury imaginable: lavish private compartments, an elegant dining car, a glamorous cocktail lounge, roaring fireplaces, live jazz and a first-class bar stocked with the finest spirits. Wealthy socialites, ski pioneers, businessmen, adventurers, celebrities and mysterious international travellers have all boarded for one unforgettable winter escape.
As the train winds its way through the snow-covered mountains, the passengers settle in for an evening of indulgence.
Until one of them is found murdered.
When a passenger wakes to discover her brother, the infamous Harlow Vale, dead in his private compartment, the luxurious journey quickly becomes a desperate search for the killer.
And it soon becomes clear that almost everyone aboard had a reason to want Harlow Vale dead.
Was it revenge?
Jealousy?
Money?
Blackmail?
A secret from the past?
Or something far more sinister?
With the train isolated in the mountains and nowhere for the killer to escape, the passengers must turn on one another to uncover the truth.

Policies
Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable. This is a 19+ event, therefore children will not be admitted. Due to liquor licensing, the Whistler Conference Centre cannot allow people under the age of 19 in any part of the building for the duration of the Cornucopia event.
