The Cornucopia 30th Edition Gala is the festival’s ultimate birthday celebration: a glamorous, high-energy evening of food, drink, music and revelry, created to celebrate three remarkable decades.
For this milestone year, we’re paying homage to the festival’s namesake: the Cornucopia, or Horn of Plenty. Rooted in Greek mythology and long associated with abundance, harvest and feasting, the cornucopia provides the inspiration for a modern-day celebration worthy of the gods.
Dress to celebrate with a Greek-inspired twist. Think gods and goddesses, mythological muses, flowing silhouettes, gold, metallics, crowns, laurel and plenty of personality. Embrace the mythology, interpret the theme your own way or simply come dressed for a great party.
This is not a traditional seated gala. The focus is firmly on the party. Raise a glass with an impressive selection of wines, sparkling pours, cocktails, spirits and creative alcohol-free options. Rediscover favourite producers, try something new and find the perfect drink for a 30th celebratory toast. A selection of delicious bites will be served throughout the evening, creating an abundant feast worthy of the gods. Come ready to mingle, celebrate and spend plenty of time on the dance floor.
The Gala celebrates Cornucopia’s remarkable journey from its grassroots beginnings as a celebration of Whistler’s restaurant community to an 11-day festival that showcases local talent alongside leading culinary and beverage talent from across Canada and beyond. Most importantly, it honours the chefs, producers, partners, volunteers and loyal guests who have helped shape Cornucopia and make the festival possible for 30 years.

Want to start the celebration early? Upgrade to the Early Entry 30th Edition ticket for access one hour before the main doors open. Enjoy an exclusive mini-feast featuring five culinary stations with thoughtfully selected beverage pairings, more time to connect with featured chefs and producers, and a relaxed first taste of the evening before continuing into the full Gala.
Event at a Glance
- Format: High-energy, walk-around celebration with beverage tasting, culinary bites, live entertainment, music and dancing.
- What to expect: This is not a traditional seated gala. Expect a lively anniversary party where you can mingle, explore featured pours and bites, enjoy entertainment and spend plenty of time on the dance floor.
- Food & beverage: A selection of culinary bites and samples of featured wines, sparkling wines, cocktails, spirits and alcohol-free beverages are included with your ticket.
- Attire: Greek-inspired glamour encouraged, but not required. Think gods and goddesses, mythological muses, flowing silhouettes, gold, metallics, crowns and laurel - or interpret the theme entirely your own way.
- Seating: This is primarily a standing, mingling and dancing event, with limited seating available.
- Dietary considerations: A variety of bites will be available throughout the evening; however, due to the nature of the event, not all dietary restrictions can be accommodated, and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
- Accessibility: The Whistler Conference Centre is wheelchair accessible, with elevator access to all function levels and an accessible washroom. Please contact us in advance if you have specific accessibility requirements so we can best support your experience.

Policies
Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable. This is a 19+ event, therefore children will not be admitted. Due to liquor licensing, the Whistler Conference Centre cannot allow people under the age of 19 in any part of the building for the duration of the Cornucopia event.
