Mya Brown
Mya Brown is a Vancouver-based sommelier, consultant and hospitality mentor whose passion for wine and the stories they tell have led her to leadership roles in the wine industry at home and abroad, from humble neighbourhood wine bars to iconic Michelin starred restaurants. She most recently helmed the wine program at the Fairmont Pacific Rim, championing sustainable producers paired alongside vibrant Pacific North West dishes at Botanist restaurant.
An energetic and effervescent individual with over two decades of hospitality experience and WSET Diploma certification, Mya is driven by curiosity and the desire to inspire others to discover something unique and personal in their engagement with wine.
Away from work you can find Mya jogging the Vancouver seawall, playing music with a few of her talented friends, or traveling in search of something delicious.
