Event Description

THE COCKTAIL GAMES

4 Bartenders. 4 Glasses. 4 Cocktails. 4 Plates. One Winner.**

Welcome to The Cocktail Games - a live cocktail competition where creativity is tested, pressure is guaranteed, and only one bartender walks away the winner.

Four bartenders will each be given a different piece of glassware that determines the rules of their round. A rocks glass calls for something bold and spirit-forward over a large rock. A coupe demands something elegant and shaken. A highball calls for something long, bright and refreshing.

One by one, each bartender will step up in front of three judges to create and present their cocktail, explaining the inspiration, ingredients and technique behind their drink.

But making one perfect cocktail is the easy part.

Once the judges have their drink, the bartender must immediately reproduce their creation for 35 guests.

While the bartender battles the clock behind the bar, our kitchen will prepare a small plate specifically designed to pair with that round's cocktail.

By the end of the competition, every guest will have experienced four original cocktails and four paired dishes while watching four bartenders put their creativity, technique and ability to perform under pressure to the test.

After four rounds, the judges' scores are revealed.

Due to the nature of this event, we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions or special dietary needs.

Policies

Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable. This is a 19+ event, therefore children will not be admitted. Due to liquor licensing, the Whistler Conference Centre cannot allow people under the age of 19 in any part of the building for the duration of the Cornucopia event.
