Event Description
Raise a glass to 30 years of Cornucopia with a wine tasting reception followed by an unforgettable multi-course dinner and thoughtfully selected pairings.
The Cornucopia 30th Anniversary Dinner is a landmark culinary experience honouring three decades of remarkable chefs, unforgettable flavours and the people who helped transform a grassroots Whistler celebration into one of Canada’s most anticipated food and drink festivals.
The evening begins with a wine tasting reception, inviting guests to explore a curated selection of wines from British Columbia, the Pacific Northwest and renowned wine regions around the world. Meet producers, discover new favourites and enjoy a relaxed start to the evening before taking your seat for dinner.
Cornucopia regulars may recognize this as the time and place traditionally reserved for Cellar Door. For our 30th anniversary, we’re evolving that experience: bringing the exceptional wines and spirit of discovery Cellar Door is known for into a special multi-course anniversary dinner.
Created especially for this milestone year, the evening brings together distinguished culinary talent for an inspired multi-course menu celebrating Cornucopia’s past, present and future. Each course will tell part of the festival’s story, revisiting the ingredients, ideas and personalities that have shaped its history while introducing fresh perspectives on what comes next.
Thoughtfully selected wines and beverages will accompany each course, chosen to complement the menu and bring another dimension to the experience. Throughout the evening, chefs, winemakers and festival personalities will share the stories, inspiration and creative decisions behind each plate and pour.
At its heart, this dinner celebrates the community that has sustained Cornucopia for 30 years: the visiting culinary talent who shared their craft, the local chefs and restaurateurs who helped build Whistler’s dining reputation, the producers who filled our glasses and the guests who returned year after year.
Expect an evening that is elegant, warm and unmistakably Cornucopia, with exceptional food, meaningful storytelling, genuine hospitality and a few memorable surprises along the way.
Gather around the table with culinary leaders and fellow food lovers for a milestone celebration in the mountains as we raise a glass to the moments that shaped Cornucopia and the talent, imagination and flavours that will carry it into its next chapter.
Thirty years of Cornucopia, served one unforgettable course at a time.
