Culinary legends meet the next generation at a lively Night Market filled with inventive dishes, exceptional pours, music and discovery.

Night Market: Legends and the Next Generation brings established culinary icons together with a new wave of emerging chefs educated at BC’s own LaSalle College. Makers and beverage professionals join for an immersive evening of food, drink, music and discovery. Created for Cornucopia’s 30th edition, the event honours the festival’s history while looking toward what comes next.

Move through a bustling market-inspired setting filled with tasting stations, live culinary energy and an exciting mix of flavours. Celebrated chefs and producers will share dishes and drinks that reflect their experience, traditions and signature styles, while rising talents bring fresh perspectives, techniques and ideas inspired by the evolving landscape of Canadian cuisine.

Some will revisit classics. Others will reinvent them entirely. Together, they showcase how knowledge is shared, traditions evolve and one generation creates opportunities for the next.

Featured wines, craft beer, spirits and alcohol-free beverages will complement the food, while music and entertainment keep the atmosphere energetic throughout the evening.

For 30 years, Cornucopia has celebrated the chefs, producers and ideas that make food and drink meaningful. Legends and the Next Generation honours those who built the foundation while giving a stage to the talent carrying it forward.

Event at a Glance

• Format: Street market-inspired, walk-around tasting with chef stations and beverage sampling.
• What’s included: Your ticket includes a tasting passport to enjoy chef-prepared tasting portions and samples of featured wines, craft beer, spirits and alcohol-free beverages.
• Attire: Anything from casual and comfortable to dressed to impress - come as you are.
• Seating: This is primarily a standing and walk-around event, with limited seating available.
• Dietary considerations: A variety of dishes will be available throughout the Night Market; however, not due to the nature of the event and individually curated chef stations, we are unable to accommodate individual food allergies or dietary restrictions.
• Accessibility: The Whistler Conference Centre is wheelchair accessible, with elevator access to all function levels and an accessible washroom. Please contact us in advance if you have specific accessibility requirements so we can best support your experience.
• Please note: This is a 19+ event. Valid government-issued photo ID is required.

Policies

Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable. This is a 19+ event, therefore children will not be admitted. Due to liquor licensing, the Whistler Conference Centre cannot allow people under the age of 19 in any part of the building for the duration of the Cornucopia event.
